New mortgage broker Articus Finance launches

A new mortgage broker called Articus Finance has launched.
Based in central London, Articus Finance will cover residential, buy-to-let and bridging loans.
The broker adds that it intends to increase the number of areas it advises on within the next 12 months and aims to cover complex and high value cases.
The firm will only advise on UK properties; however, both foreign nationals and expats can use Articus’ services.
Increasing the company’s size is expected to start in the new year, with the firm intending to add a number of experienced brokers.
When asked whether Brexit was a consideration when deciding to set up a new company, Articus Finance founders Antonio Michael and Oliver Hines-Lloyd said that “we have seen little to no change with regard to the effects of the current uncertainty.
“We believe that regardless of the decision on Brexit we will have client’s ether way.”
Michael and Hines-Lloyd continue: “We set up Articus Finance because we wanted to simplify finances and focus on the ‘little guys’. We felt that bigger firms that tend to lose sight of the bigger picture.
“We intend to keep our branding and goals the same as we progress and become larger.
“One of our shareholders is a property developer, which we feel gives us an added angle of experience to our knowledge in brokering.”
